Free Tax Assistance
ax help will be available here at the Library for Seniors and Low-income tax filers.

Volunteers, trained by the IRS, will be at the Library every Thursday from 1:00 to 4:00pm (starting Feb. 7th) and every Saturday from 10:00am to 3:00pm through Saturday, April 12, 2008.

This service is offered free of charge to senior citizens and low-income individuals on a first come first served basis. Each day volunteers will bring a new sign-up sheet for that day until the appointments are filled; no advance sign-ups are available. The sign-up sheets will be near the Reference desk.


Youth Room Story Times
Location: Youth Room - Story Room
Thursday and Saturday, every week, 'Its Story time' at the Palm Springs Public Library
Looking for an enriching and engaging activity for your children? Come to the Library for Story time! Many options are offered to meet the needs of your family.

READ-TO-ME is a time for children age 0-2½ on THURSDAYS from 10:00-10:50 a.m. There will be stories and songs and playtime with other children.

For those BUSY-FINGERS, children ages 2½ - 5 years old, they will enjoy stories and crafts just for them on THURSDAYS from 11:00 to 11:50 a.m.

Join us on Saturdays from 2:00-3:00 p.m. for SUPER SATURDAY STORIES, where the whole family is welcome.

These programs are free and will be held in the 'Story Room' in the Youth Department. For more information call the Youth Department at 323-8199.
